Don't want to come downtown? I make house calls all over Western Mass, to your home, business, or hospital location, as needed.
Marie Jablonski is a solo attorney in Springfield, MA with a general law practice, and is a 2002 graduate of Western New England College School of Law. She provides legal services in the areas of family law, real estate, probate work, and social security disability appeals. Included in her work are mediation, filing documents for probating estates of deceased persons, preparation of wills, trusts, Medicaid applications and other estate planning documents. She accepts court cases in the four Western counties: Hampden, Hampshire, Berkshire and Franklin. She makes house calls, and hospital or nursing home visits.
Before becoming an attorney Marie worked in human resources at an international corporation, and worked with disabled employees with illnesses and injuries. She has two Masters degrees in psychology and this background allows her to understand the unique needs of individuals and families who come to her for legal services.
In her family law practice she emphasizes mediation as a method of reaching a settlement of legal issues in the case. She is a certified mediator and also provides mediation in family law matters, as an alternative to the traditional adversarial method in a family law court case. She also represents individual parties when the process is adversarial, in the Probate Court.
Marie received the Pro Bono Publico Award from the Volunteer Lawyers Service and the Hampden County Bar Association, recognizing her pro bono work.
Marie volunteers in her community in several areas including speaking at local senior centers on legal topics, member of Human Rights Committee of Work Opportunity Center in Agawam, and member of Women Business Owners Alliance.
Marie hails from Springfield, where she currently makes her home. She is a fan of the Boston Red Sox, and the North Carolina Tar Heels mens' and womens' basketball teams. She also enjoys The Quadrangle Museums, gardening, and singing in her church choir.
